About Dangerously Fit
Originally from London England I came to Australia backpacking in August 2000.
It’s been a long holiday – 8 years later I’m still here enjoying Sydney and now own a successful personal training and fitness boot camp company – Dangerously Fit Personal Training.
Through many years of working with personal training clients I have learned what really works for the average person busy juggling work and family commitments.
Most people don’t have time to go to the gym 4-5 days a week for an hour at a time like most of the fitness magazines workouts tell you to.
As the owner of a mobile personal training company I had to come up with a system my trainers and myself could use with our clients and know would work 100% of the time.
Unlike most “fitness internet gurus” my income directly correlates to my clients getting results, if my clients don’t get results I don’t earn a living.
And because we are an outdoor mobile personal training company I needed to come up with a training system we could use that did not require the use of a gym.
You see you don’t need an expensive gym membership and fancy pieces of gym equipment to get results.
All our training is done outdoor with minimal equipment and our clients have achieved dramatic results.
All you need is a set of Olympic rings and either kettlebells, dumbbells or sandbags.
I set up this blog to give you regular fat loss strategies, outdoor workouts, fitness and nutrition advice which will act as a guide for you to achieve your fitness goals.
If you have any health and fitness related questions please feel free to post a comment on this blog.
Wishing you the best of health.

I would like to attend a real hard core fitness boot camp for a week to jump charge my slowing metabolism.
Do you have nay recommendations? My goal is to lose 5 lbs a month, decrease body fat and drop down 2 sizes to a healthy size 8.I am 5′6″.
I sure wish I could mosey on down to Australia.Thank yo in advance fo rany suggestions you can give me!

Hi Suzanne,
Try http://www.crossfit.com – their training style is very good and I believe they have quite a few locations throughout the U.S.
Thanks,
Dan.
Hey Dan
Like the way your doing your marketing. I’m another Pom (A Northerner), getting Aussies fit. I think I’ve seen your group at Rushcutters bay as I’ve run past with a group. I mainly train in the domain but we run out your way once a month or so. Loving what your doing with the video clips. I think we are on the same page mate. I’m a CrossFit instructor and KB and “O” lifting coach. I’ve got a good site with a blog but need to start utilizing video etc
Good luck and keep smashing it up
Joe

Thanks mate.
Ive seen some of your work on the net and like it alot, I think video is the way forward from now on – mornings are a bit too dark at the moment though.
Maybe see you in Rushcutters soon.
Cheers!
