My name is Max Lipset and I am a trainer in Minneapolis, MN. I actually lived in Sydney as a kid, but moved back to the states for high school, college, etc. I'm a professional footballer/soccer player and a personal trainer on the side. I have a client who is interested in doing some lactate threshold training on his row machine at home. I've never done heart rate training on a row machine and I tested his heart rate zones on a treadmill. I'm wondering if you notice a difference between max heart rate running versus rowing? Can a max heart rate reading from a treadmill be used interchangeably on a rowing machine? Please advise. Thank you sir-
